market yet to factor in positive fundamentals, says slim's sutherland
High yield will continue to outperform over the next year as the market has yet to factor in the increasingly positive fundamentals underpinning the sector. Andrew Sutherland, manager of the Standard Life High Income fund, said while it has recovered strongly from its March lows, high yield was so oversold that current levels still provide plenty of scope for attractive total returns.
