• Aberdeen Asset Managers has appointed UK fund manager Gary McAleese and CIO Anne Richards as co-managers of the £384m Murray Income Trust following the resignation of Ross Watson. Watson, who has left to join Martin Currie, had run the trust since January 2002 and made a return of 9.6% on NAV in the three years to 28 January 2005. Shares gained 17.3% in this period compared with a return of 7% from the FTSE All-Share.
