Paul Griffiths, former S&P AAA-rated bond manager at Investec, is to give up running money when he takes up his role as chief investment officer at Axa Investment Managers. Griffiths will be moving into a business role, responsible for developing the firm's third-party business, as well as overseeing Axa's investment teams. He will also chair the UK asset allocation committee and contribute to Axa's global asset allocation committee. Griffiths is to take up his role in early 2004 and is currently on gardening leave.
