Standard Life Investments has launched a concentrated India focus fund which will be researched by an investment team based in Mumbai. SLI has signed a joint venture with asset managers HDFC AMC who will advise on stock picks for a concentrated 20 to 35 stock high conviction portfolio. India Equity will sit within the group’s global Sicav umbrella and be managed by Michael Dow, investment director at SLI.
