Rathbone Investment Management has hired Alex Turnbull as an investment director from HSBC. Turnball will join the charity team alongside his former colleague James Pettit, who joined the group in January. Rathbone's investment director and head of the charity team Ivo Clifton said: “They bring with them a wealth of experience in managing charities’ investments and join at a time of sustained growth,” “Rathbones’ charity funds under management have increased three fold since 2001 to over £1 billion and we are now the third largest manager of segregated funds, by number of charities,”
