Gartmore’s new CIO Dominic Rossi has now landed at the group. He takes responsibility for the whole investment division, covering Gartmore’s London, US and Asia offices. Rossi will also sit on the company Board, subject to regulatory approval. Gartmore has been without a CIO since 2005 when Quintin Price left to go to Merrill Lynch. Rossi joins from Threadneedle where had a 11-year tenure. He was head of equities, and managed the Latin American fund up until 2004.
