North East-based asset manager Wise Speke is to change its name to match that of its parent company Brewin Dolphin from early 2008. Wise Speke is the northern division of Brewin Dolphin’s private client investment management operation. The group has £21bn in assets under management and 39 offices across the country. Charles May, recently-appointed head of Wise Speke in Newcastle, said he hopes bringing the firm under the Brewin Dolphin banner will provide a platform to further expand the business.
