Economic growth in Asian markets has been robust despite ongoing volatility in the region’s equity markets, according to Invesco Perpetual’s Stuart Parks. He said although Q2 growth in China and India slowed from the previous quarter it was still strong. China saw growth at 10.1% while in India it was 7.9%. Parks believes the relief of inflationary pressures in Asia has given policymakers greater freedom to stimulate the economy.
