Credit Agricole Asset Management has bolstered its commodity equity range with an agricultural fund launch. The CAAM Funds Global Agriculture vehicle will be managed by Nicolas Fragneau. The Siacv will invest most of its portfolio across international equities in the farming sector. Fragneau said: “We believe that the situation of imbalance between supply and demand is likely to last as it is mainly driven by demographic trends. This is why we try to identify innovative companies which aim at improving long-term agricultural productivity.”
