Martin Currie has appointed Brian Canavan to its Asia-Pacific team. Canavan joins Martin Currie from Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong where he was head of global accounting and valuation research. At Martin Currie, Canavan will oversee the quality of the team's research and support the long term development of the team in Asia, where more than a third of the group’s £14.1bn funds under management is invested.
