BlackRock Absolute Return Strategies, the group’s closed-ended fund of hedge funds, has begun dealing on the LSE today after a $275m issue. The fund, which has now placed over 16 million shares with investors, gives closed-ended access to fund of hedge funds BlackRock Alternative Advisors’ Appreciation Strategy. The group said it has provided positive annual returns every year since launch over 12 years ago.
