HSBC Investments has lined up a third fund of funds to launch in its OpenFunds range on 30 November. The vehicle will be the first single-asset fund in the range, with a global focus on a single asset class, according to the firm’s director of wholesale Andy Clark. “It will have a different target from a different asset class compared to the two existing funds,” he said. The fund will be managed by the firm’s multi-manager team headed by former Axa managers James Hughes and Nick Pothier, but the lead manager is still to be confirmed.
