Aviva is planning to phase out the Norwich Union brand within two years, bringing all its subsidiary companies across the world under the Aviva name. The group’s CEO Andrew Moss said the transformation would bring together various relatively autonomous business units under one brand. The aim is to bring the UK in line with the group’s business in the rest of the world, as it already trades as Aviva in more than 20 markets in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
