Peter Bentley is leaving Pimco to join Insight Investment. He currently runs the £204m Allianz Pimco Sterling Total Return and £31m UK Corporate Bond vehicles, which will pass to head of UK credit Mike Amey. Amey will continue to run the group’s gilt portfolios. Bentley, who joins Insight on 1 January, previously worked at Morley and Schroders. At Insight, he will replace Richard Dryer as head of UK credit. Dryer left last month to join Credit Suisse. Pimco has also appointed former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan as an adviser.
