Axa upped the equity weighting on its £9.7bn Axa Sun Life with-profits fund by over 10 percentage points over the second half of 2006, producing an 11% return over the full year. Meanwhile, the group has also declared a special bonus for clients who retained a right to any surplus assets following Axa’s reattribution of the inherited estate in December 2000. The bonuses are approximately 4.0% for unitised and 2.5% for conventional policies.
