Nick Sheridan has taken over New Star’s offshore pan-European mandate from Daniel White. Star manager Sheridan is taking over the Luxembourg-based New Star GIF Pan European Equity fund following a spell of poor performance including a 30% loss over the last year. The group said the move is another example of founder and CEO John Duffield’s willingness to take action to deal with underperformance.
