Legg Mason Investments has appointed Lennie Lim as head of its Asia distribution business. Lim joins Legg Mason from ABN Amro where he was CEO for Singapore operations. He has also held senior positions at Schroders Investment Management and Prudential Portfolio Managers. Lim will be based in Singapore, and is responsible for the groups’ distribution to intermediaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. The appointment follows the expansion of Legg Mason’s Asia business earlier this year, with the opening of three offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
