Barclays' stunning share price rise has ticked over 70% this afternoon as investors continue to positively react to the bank's open letter today. Financials across the board are sharing in the sector's revival, helping the FTSE 100 advance 172.33 points, or 4.25%, to 4,224.80 at 3:30pm. Barclays is up 73% to 88.60 after its chairman and CEO reassured investors on its capital strength this morning. Compatriots Lloyds Banking Group and RBS are 34.28% and 23.97% higher respectively.
