Jamie Allsopp’s Heart of Africa fund has reported 10.5% growth since launch at the end of October last after adopting an aggressive Nigerian slant. New Star’s most recent offering has adopted a 30% weighting to Nigeria, and has dampened down its target weighting to stricken Kenya from 13.5% to a 7% actual exposure.
