Baillie Gifford has reshuffled its emerging markets desk, removing Gerald Smith as lead manager and handing the Emerging Markets Growth fund to Richard Sneller. Sneller will run the portfolio alongside William Sutcliffe. Management of the Emerging Markets Large Capitalisation Companies fund has also been passed from William Sutcliffe to Tom Record and Richard Sneller. Gerald Smith will remain as head of emerging markets, and will continue to have an input into stock selection on the fund.
