Stockbroker Charles Stanley has poached WH Ireland’s business development director Derek Gawne. He is now based in the firm’s Liverpool office, formerly the premises of insurance broker Griffiths & Armour which was recently acquired by the firm. In his new role as sales director Gawne is responsible for working with Charles Stanley’s northern branches to strengthen the investment side of the business, and developing intermediary relationships.
