M&G is planning to launch a global equity income fund, to be managed by Stuart Rhodes. Rhodes works on the group's Global desk and is deputy manager of the M&G American fund. The group said it believes there is demand in the marketplace for a global income offering. Jonathan Willcocks, managing director of global sales, said: “We always gauge client appetite to new funds and based on the positive feedback we have received, we are planning to launch a global equity income fund later this year.” Further details on the fund will be announced closer to launch.
