Standard Life Investments has reopened its €770m European Growth Property fund to investors, having fully invested the second tranch in 31 properties in nine countries across Europe. Manager Will Fulton’s most recent investments are two retail warehouses in Sweden, and an office building and industrial estate in Belgium. In 2002 the fund exceeded its original target and was successfully closed, but demand from existing clients led to a restructure in 2005 and the life of the fund was extended.
