Allianz Global Investors has added wider investment powers to portfolios in its fund range and has rewritten fund objectives to better reflect their profiles. Having gained shareholder approval at an EGM earlier this week, the objectives of the firm’s equity funds have been reworked to allow them each to gain exposure to international economies. While previously all the funds had a purely UK focused mandate, they can now hold up to 20% in overseas equities, in line with IMA sector requirements.
