China and Japan funds ruled the roost last week, with many gaining over 6% over the period. Property funds fared less well, with most reporting negative results despite the positive week for the industry overall, according to Morningstar. But the wildcard best performer was New Star’s UK Strategic Income fund, which added 7.06% in the single week despite its 12.8% exposure to property.
