New Star and Intrisic Financial Services have teamed up to launch a fund of funds range in the coming months. Designed specifically for Intrinsic clients, the funds will be headed up by Simon Akroyd, the head of New Star’s private client division. The products will have a blend of different asset classes including Oeics, investment trusts and ETFs. Akroyd has worked in the investment industry for 20 years and worked at Aberdeen as managing director of private portfolio management and at Cazenove as fund director and head of the private unit trust desk before joining New Star.
