Skandia is creating a wealth management division headed by CEO of its UK business unit Brett Williams. The aim of the division is to develop wealth management services for UK clients, through the intermediary market. It is expected to be operational on 1 August, subject to FSA approval. Nick Poyntz-Wright, CEO of the UK and offshore division, will now take over Williams’ role. Meanwhile the group is restructuring elsewhere, making the international part of the business a formal division in its own right from 1 May.
