Jupiter is opening its $25m Asia Pacific hedge fund to external investment. The long/short fund will be open for investment from 2 July. It is managed by Philip Ehrmann and has been incubated since 1 December 2006, initially as a paper portfolio. The fund launched on 2 April 2007. The portfolio has an emphasis on mid caps, and currently holds 58 stocks. Forty of these stocks are long positions. It has a net exposure of almmost 70% and gross exposure of 220%. Minimum investment is £10,000, €10,000 or $10,000.
