Baillie Gifford is promoting Ken Barker to the newly created role leading fixed income client servicing and business development. Barker is currently co-manager of the High Yield and Corporate Bond funds. He will take on his new position on 31 January. Ben Thompson, who co-manages the High Yield fund alongside Barker, will take over as lead manager on this fund at the end of the month. He will also become joint manager of the Corporate Bond fund alongside Stephen Rodger. Meanwhile Rodger will become head of the credit team, and both he and Barker will be made partners of Baillie Giff...
