Nick Osborne has been named co-manager on Mark Lyttleton’s BlackRock UK Absolute Alpha fund. Osborne, who joined BlackRock in 1999, has worked with Lyttleton on the fund since its launch in April 2005. UK Absolute Alpha seeks to deliver a positive absolute return in all market conditions by utilising the wider UCITS III investment powers in a long / synthetic-short. Assets under management have significantly increased from £150m to £400m following its move to daily dealing in the summer.
