F&C Asset Management has hired former Henderson chief executive Roger Yates as a non-executive director. Kieron Poynter has also been appointed to a NED role, having recently retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers after 37 years with the firm. Yates retired as CEO last summer, to be replaced by Andrew Formica after nine years with the group. He began his career in the asset management industry with GT Management in 1981 and also served as CIO at Morgan Grenfell Investment Management.
