Jupiter is to transfer its Preference fund to Premier Portfolio Managers on 27 April. Following the transfer, the name of the fund will change to the Premier Preference fund and, in the short term, will be managed by Premier on its current terms. Simon Weldon, managing director sales and marketing at Premier, said subject to shareholder consent, the company expects to merge the Preference fund into the £54m Premier Absolute Growth fund.
