Threadneedle head of global emerging markets Julian Thompson has taken over management of the group's Latin America fund following the departure of Katy Dobson. The former manager has left the company following a restructure of its global emerging markets and Asia equities teams. Thompson will take over as lead manager with immediate effect, while Jules Mort will continue as deputy. The firm says there will be no change to the investment objectives of the fund or the investment process.
