Halbis has appointed Ed Conroy to its global emerging markets team, where he will focus on Russian equities. He will be based in London and report to senior portfolio manager and head of Russian equities at Halbis Douglas Helfer. The active management specialist of HSBC Global Asset Management wants to strengthen its expertise in Russia by hiring a specialist in this area. Conroy joins from Aberdeen Asset Management where he was previously an investment manager in the global emerging markets equity team.
