Threadneedle is to buy Invesco Perpetual’s £470m DC pension business, subject to regulator approval. Invesco Perpetual’s pension clients will be able to access Threadneedle’s full range of funds after the acquisition and additional online services. Threadneedle is also promoting Rita Butler-Jones, who joined in 2003 as DC relationship manager, to head of DC. This brings the number of clients that Threadneedle manage pension funds for to over 100 and assets to around £1.2bn.
