Scottish Widows Investment Partnership emerging markets investment director Joanna Terrett is backing infrastructure stocks in the sector as 10 year holdings. In a Swip clients' newsletter she cites Morgan Stanley figures putting emerging markets infrastructure investment worldwide at $22tr over the coming decade. She also points to Chinese power station building and Brazilian social housing development as long term opportunities in the area.
