Jupiter is planning to restructure its North American fund into an American Income fund. The group has written to unit-holders seeking permission to change the remit of the fund to invest for income as well as capital growth. The £13m fund is managed by Sebastian Radcliffe and will look to tap into the growing dividends on offer from US companies. Subject to unitholder approval, the changes will take place on May 8, the same day Jupiter’s new European Income fund is due to come to the market.
