Standard Life Investments has announced the launch of an investment-only fund platform for defined contribution pension schemes. The Fundchoices vehicle means investors can access a wide range of funds via SLI’s Trustee Investment Plan, including both SLI’s own funds and funds from external managers. The product also allows DC trustees to create bespoke funds. Fundchoices has been under development over several months, and currently has £1.1bn in assets under administration, including a £840m mandate from Citigroup to create an investment platform for four defined contribution schemes.
