Since assuming control of the BlackRock UK Income fund in February 2007, Nick McLeod-Clarke’s flexible and high conviction approach has helped the fund achieve top-quartile performance. Over one year to 17 August, the vehicle sits sixth out of 81 funds in the IMA UK Equity Income sector, up 2.8% against an average decline of 9.5%, according to Morningstar.
