Jonathan Willcocks explains how M&G's multi-faceted strategies have brought the fund group to its number one position with inflows of over £4.4bn so far this year

"We have a very full golf bag," says an excited Jonathan Willcocks, M&G's managing director for global retail sales. "Most fund groups, in terms of the successful funds they can promote, could maybe pull out a driver, and maybe a three iron. We have got a full range, a whole suite of high-performing funds we are able to promote at any one time. That is a very strong position to be in." M&G is currently the number one fund group in the UK, having reported gross inflows of £4.4bn in the first quarter of this year. Total net inflows reached £2.5bn, more than four times the level achieved...
