Real estate's elusive recovery



Pockets of the property sector are reviving but there is still a long way to go to regain a pre-crisis high. Caroline Allen reports from Investment Property Databank's real estate conference.

There is a question of a “new paradigm” for the real estate sector. A full return to the heady days before the global financial crisis is unlikely to happen again, but there are opportunities for domestic and global investors. However, extreme care and rigour are required to avoid remaining hazards.
