The summer has done little to slow down the investment company sector, which, although showing some sign of new-issue fatigue after a boom time for new launches, has continued to see its fair share of activity. The industry's total assets broke the £90bn barrier for the first time ever this year, and total assets are currently tantalisingly close to the £100bn mark.
