Property has, for many years, captured the imagination of UK investors. Historically this has meant buying residential bricks and mortar - in the main with people looking on the purchase of a home as a good investment or, especially in more recent years, going one step further and investing in a buy-to-let or a holiday home abroad. The barrier to this type of investment of course is the large amount of money involved in making these purchases - an amount not everyone can afford.
