Aberdeen's Emerging Markets fund stands at the top of its sector over one and three years, after backing only the highest-quality companies and refusing to chase momentum. Mark Gordon-James, one of the managers on Hugh Young's team, said Warren Buffet-style investing had led them to invest in a smaller number of companies where they have the highest conviction.
