The UK stock market saw a surge late last year with the FTSE 100 breaking the 4,800 mark. But despite this rally, it is important investors consider whether there is much more opportunity for growth. It might time to start looking elsewhere. Though UK blue chips have performed well recently, further growth looks unlikely as the FTSE 100 is somewhat top-heavy in oil, banking, telecoms and, in particular, pharmaceuticals.
