The most accurate statement one can make about predictions is that they are invariably inaccurate. The pensions world is not immune; almost every week there is another opinion about the future shape of pensions. This is excellent for filling column inches but not necessarily helpful in planning for the future. What can be said with some certainty is that there is likely to be some change in how pensions are distributed over the next decade.
