Current economic climate takes its toll on Investment Trust of the Year Awards as property category is deemed too difficult to judge by panel

Recent market volatility has affected this year's judging for the IW Investment Trust of the Year Awards, with the panel opting to remove property as a category. It proved a difficult area to judge in the past as direct and indirect portfolios are compared, and the panel felt it particularly hard to trust asset values in the current environment.
