The steady flow of structured products showed little sign of falling off, in what is historically considered the slowest month in the market, with 45 more products issued in August. According to research website structuredretailproducts.com's monthly review of the sector, the number of launches last month was the same as in July and raises the number of products with 2004 strike dates to 446. This compares to 505 products launched in 2003, according to Arete Consulting, which runs the research website.
