Legal & General this week is launching two structured products, both providing capital protection plus upside linked to the FTSE 100. The six-year Capital Protection Plus 4 product offers to return the greater of 122% of the initial investment or 100% capital plus 50% of the rise in the FTSE, excluding dividends, over the period with no cap. The minimum return of 22% is equivalent to a compound interest rate of 3.3% net of tax over the six-year term.
