Investors are warning of renewed market volatility in the face of predicted global growth deceleration. Andrew Milligan, head of global strategy at Standard Life Investments, attributes the global growth deceleration to a slowing US economy, inflation concerns and leveraged credit instruments. He believes markets have entered a transitory phase, with global central banks now withdrawing the liquidity made available during the end of the bear market.
